About

My name is Audra Grigus and I am a young professional living in the Twin Cities in Minnesota, USA. I graduated with BAs in Journalism (emphasis on international journalism) and German in the Spring of 2021 from Hamline University.

Originally from a Wisconsin border town, an area that the locals have affectionately deemed “Minnesconsin,” I always felt myself being pulled toward the life and people of the Twin Cities. My college experience offered me many opportunities—involvement in student affairs, music ensembles, stirring the pot at the school newspaper, working at an elementary school, several abroad experiences to Europe and Asia, and enjoying building meaningful friendships along the way (yes, I did somehow have time for that)—but I had to learn to be flexible quite quickly when 1.5 years of my college experience were lost to the global pandemic.

After graduating I found myself working in the nonprofit world and at small, local newspapers. I currently work as a freelancer specializing in graphic design, video and audio production and media strategy. I’m not sure where my career will take me, but I’m really enjoying taking the time to learn new skills! From crocheting to attempting to better my French, to even working toward my Private Pilot License, I am excited for where all my abilities will take (or fly) me and my little dog, Lotti, in the future.

This website acts as a home for my thoughts, work, and dreams to come. Welcome!
